Damian Py — Founder & CEO of BIM Groupe

Tinkering with electronics since he was 11 and a hardware entrepreneur since 22, Damian is an ENS Paris-Saclay and CentraleSupélec alumnus who co-founded Daan Tech — bringing "Bob", the world's first autonomous mini dishwasher, from concept to 100,000+ units produced. He also co-founded and fully industrialised Athana (Hera, an instant hot flash relief device), Lizia (a 3-in-1 reading accessory), and MyMoony (a connected technical belt for pain relief) — developing and industrialising every product from scratch. He then founded BIM Groupe to give startups and SMEs access to the same industrial firepower as large corporations.

Working with China since 2019 as part of the "Made in China 2025" initiative, Damian has lived in South Korea, Argentina, and now Shenzhen — the hardware capital of the world — where he runs production operations across China and India. In India, he established French Carbon Capture Pvt Ltd, a carbon capture facility using pyrolysis to transform agricultural waste into biochar — locking CO2 away for 1,000+ years at industrial scale.
